Connecting to the Web

Software Requirements:

• A web-browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Explorer
• A simple text editor, such as NOTEPAD or WORDPAD
• A communications package, such as FTP (available from Arches)

Account Requirements:

• An internet account that hosts a webpage
• All UGA students have the option of using ARCHES
